SEA WOLF 1 - Zeyport, Turkey - Starlink. Sharewave & Peplink Installation
Field Disptach -SEA WOLF 1
Zeyport Port, Istanbul | 7–8 November 2025
Project Overview
Global Satcoms successfully completed a multi-system communications installation onboard SEA WOLF 1, covering Starlink, Peplink, and Waveshare systems. Despite short port time, boarding delays, and full night operations, all installations, cable work, cabinet organisation, and system validation were finished within the vessel’s 12-hour operational window.

Lessons Learned
- Essential to confirm cable routes before engineer mobilisation
- Night operations require full remote support availability
- Port logistics such as motorboat transfers require buffer time
- Spare cabling prevents mission delays
- Coordination with vessel electricians is key to maintaining workflow
Final Outcome
All systems were successfully installed and validated within the vessel’s restricted 12-hour stay. The engineer worked overnight to meet deadlines, and the vessel crew confirmed acceptance of all works. SEA WOLF 1 now operates with an enhanced, modernised, and fully reliable maritime communication suite.
