Field Service Diapatch  Install - MV BRAVE PIONEER

Tsuneishi Heavy Industries Cebu Shipyard, Philippines | 11–12 December 2025

Project Summary

Global Satcoms carried out a new VSAT installation and commissioning onboard MV BRAVE PIONEER while the vessel was at Tsuneishi Heavy Industries Cebu Shipyard.
The scope included installation and activation of the primary KNS Z10e VSAT system, deployment of an Intellian C700 backup system, indoor equipment installation, SIM activation, commissioning with remote support, and Wi-Fi and VoIP pre-configuration.
As the vessel was still under construction and not yet handed over to the customer, end-user testing was limited.

  • Pre-installed cabling from previous visits significantly reduces installation time.

  • Remote commissioning support is critical during new-build or pre-delivery phases.

  • Early handover explanation to shipyard electricians helps preserve rack integrity until delivery.
